My thoughts on eating amazake ice cream

When I open the lid of the cup of amazake ice cream, I find beautiful, pure white ice cream inside.

Morinaga Red Can Amazake’s signature snow-white color is also recreated in the ice cream.
When I open the lid of the amazake ice cream, the refreshing scent of sake lees wafts out.

As soon as I took a bite, the rich, aromatic scent of sake lees filled my mouth. Then I was able to savor the gentle sweetness of the amazake.

I was really impressed by how well they recreated the taste of sweet rice drink in this ice cream.

I find that amazake ice cream lets me savor the flavor of amazake even more than the drink itself, and I’m really hoping they’ll bring it back.
