It is an introduction of Amazake of Amanoya.
This is “Amanoya”, which was taken by looking back at the torii gate of “Kanda Myojin”.
“Myojin Amazake” is written on the big red signboard of the shop. Many worshipers of “Kanda Myojin” stopped by and drank amazake.
What is torii gate?
Torii gate is the entrance to the space where the shrine is located.
It is a long-established store that has been in business since 1846.
Located near the torii gate of “Kanda Myojin”, there is a coffee shop right next to the shop that sells amazake.
The photo above is a photo of a coffee shop.
When I entered the shop, there were two types of amazake.
- Straight amazake(Amazake of the type to drink as it is)
- Concentrated amazake(A type of amazake that is divided with water and drunk)
In addition to amazake, there were many attractive items such as amazake buns and miso, which is the same fermented food as amazake.
It is located in Edo Tokyo and has a history of nearly 1300 years.
Kanda Myojin is a short walk from JR Ochanomizu or Ochanomizu Station on the Marunouchi Line. Now the shrine is very lively for the Kanda Festival. People of all ages enjoyed worshiping.
When you arrive at the shrine, there is a large torii gate and a gorgeous red temple behind it.
When the weather was nice, the blue and red of the sky contrasted and it was very beautiful.
Impressions of drinking “Amazake”
If the coffee shop was crowded and I was wondering what to do, the owner of the shop recommended that amazake while looking at the outside scenery would be good.
So I bought the warm amazake sold in the cup.
It is koji amazake containing rice grains.
